On 9th of April, 2017, The National Food Safety Demonstration City (First Batch) Comprehensive Review Meeting held in Beijing is ended, the CFIC Chief Advisor Dr. Bao Dayue is invited as its assessment expert to participate this review meeting. CFIC also assists in meeting organizing work.
To supervise the government with their responsibility for national food safety, and encourage local governments to raise up the governance level on food safety, the food safety committee office of P.R China deployed to carry out the set-up of the national food safety demonstration cities, Shandong province, Shanxi Province, Hubei Province and Hebei Province are selected to be the first batch, including 15 cities in total, through their active work, these cities already achieved significant success on food safety management.
